Quarry House is a small vacation home designed to maximize it’s functionality while limiting it’s footprint. The home cantilevers over a swimming pool that’s anchored by the ruminants of quarry workings. Terraced hardscaping bridge the programed exterior spaces; a lawn, firepit, jacuzzi, pool, and carport. The raw yet simple material palette brings the outside in. Influenced by the earthen extractions that formed the site, the house is regularized by a 3X1 standard.
